InnosuisseThe Korea Institute for Advancement of Technology (KIAT) and the Swiss Innovation Agency (Innosuisse) launch their joint call 2021 to fund science-based innovation projects between Switzerland and South Korea.
The call for joint innovation projects is aimed at companies and research institutions in Switzerland and South Korea (consortia) who are looking to carry out a joint science-based innovation project: companies that identify the two countries as major markets and research locations, and want to take advantage of the benefit of KIAT – Innosuisse funding.
The call is open to all topics. However, projects in the following topics are particularly welcome:
- Biotech, Medtech
- Digitalisation, Industry 4.0, IoT
- Additive Manufacturing
- Smart Materials / Innovative Surfaces
- Augmented and Virtual Reality
This is a two-stage procedure:
February 1, 2021: Call launch
April 7, 2021: Submission deadline for pre-proposals
Middle of May 2021: Communication of recommendations for the next step
August 2, 2021: Submission deadline for full-proposals
End of October 2021: Communication of evaluation results and decision
Note: The Korea Institute for Advancement of Technology (KIAT) and Innosuisse work together to support international innovation projects implemented by partners from South Korea and Switzerland. Research institutions and companies have the opportunity to submit funding applications in regular calls for proposals. This partnership boosts knowledge and technology transfer and makes both countries more competitive.
