2021 Call for Young Researchers’ Exchange Programme with China

Swiss senior researchers from universities, universities of applied sciences or research institutes and from all scientific disciplines can apply to host young Chinese scholars (doctoral students or postdoctoral researchers) in Switzerland for 6-24 months. A scholarship is jointly provided by the China Scholarship Council (CSC) and the Leading House Asia to cover living allowance and international travel.

The main Swiss applicant (Swiss host researcher) must apply to Leading House Asia. The submission of the application takes place in two compulsory steps (as stated in the call guidelines below).

1. Submission of your application details via the application form, ‘Online application form for Swiss host‘.
2. Upload of your research proposal with the requested appendices in one single pdf document via the application form online.

At the same time, the Chinese visiting fellow must submit his/ her application to the CSC. (For application details, please refer to CSC’s website). Co-application is mandatory, failure to do so will result in the disqualification of the application.
