The Korea Institute for Advancement of Technology (KIAT) and the Swiss Innovation Agency (Innosuisse) announce a bilateral call for joint R&D projects aimed at developing market-ready solutions for products, technology-based services, or processes that have significant market potential in both South Korea and Switzerland.

Call Details

This call for projects is open to Swiss and South Korean partners. It aims to encourage innovation in the following technologies in particular:

  1. Biotech and Medtech;
  2. Digitalisation, Industry 4.0, Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence;
  3. Additive manufacturing;
  4. Smart materials / innovative surfaces;
  5. Augmented and virtual reality;
  6. Hydrogen technologies;
  7. Renewable energies and batteries.

Funding

Each country will fund its eligible participants according to its national procedures and funding rules. Funding conditions and eligibility criteria may vary between South Korea and Switzerland.
